Nothing Like Notting Hil

We all have grown up watching some common movies unrelentingly. Notting Hill is one of them. The handsome Hugh Grant and jovial Julia Robert have always triumphed over our hearts with their sweet chemistry blooming in none other than Notting Hill, London. Since then it had been a dormant desire to come across this tiny hamlet of a place if ever possible.

Look here I am now. Yes I made it ! I am now strolling around this charming place, wondering when to witness its signature colorful houses, rubbing its shoulders with each other. Seems like some market has rejuvenated its streets. Locals enlightened that it is Portobello market which is quite popular in this locality. People are pouring in from all over the city. Hustle bustles everywhere. Ranging from some amazing collection of paintings, heaps of artistic bags, home decor, rare books, some vintage dresses, even soothing fragrances haven’t left any room for showcasing their aura. One particular tote bag embellished with French artist Claude Monet’s soothing flower print, snatched my attention and I did not waste a single moment to grab this. Immediately I purchased it and comprehended that, my soul got bulged up by sheer pleasure of possessing it.

Kept on exploring a bit more, with my rebellious belly due to hunger pangs and discovered quite an enormous numbers of food stalls had been erected here. Who could resist herself from purchasing a finger licking Gyro, greek wrap and devouring it in within next few minutes? With a satiated soul, I proceeded further to have a glimpse of those vibrant house blocks of this affluent neighborhood. Thanks to Google Maps for catching red handed those locality and pleasing my heart. Instantly, phone emerged from my pocket to trap those buildings in preserving them in the palace of my memory. It felt exhilarated to stroll through this affluent locality where once  big names like Julia Roberts, Hugh Grant etc used to have their footsteps.

Finally, bell rang to head back to my sweet home. Loved every bit of this place. I would certainly recommend visiting it to anyone exploring London.
