This time I truly realized why after a prolong monotonous life schedule, a break is much needed, especially when it comes to the vacation in one of the most happening cities in the world, New Orleans.
Let's start over from the very beginning, the day when we geared up for our much-awaited road trip to New Orleans via halting at much-heard Panama city beach in North-west Florida. Initially, the road being as usual polished adorned with barren, dry wintry trees but later on the route transformed into a much more scenic one. Especially. the intermediate way between Tallahassee and Panama city stole our hearts in an unanticipated manner. It reminded me of a North East city called, Moorstown, much similar to the Hollywood movies backgrounds which often use to drag our aspiration towards visiting these filmy foreign locations. Moving forward to the Panama City Beach which rather disappointed me by not being that much exotic as it ought to be according to numerous reviews obtained from net browsing. Basically what happened is that, being a tropical resident as well as a regular witness of world's best beaches, this particular beach didn't seemed to me unique. Nevertheless, leaving behind Panama City Beach, when we set our feet over the cold white sand beach in Pensacola, it was nothing different but quenched our desires by the view of the  magnificent emerald blue Gulf of Mexico. It's serenity transcended us to some other land of tranquility. However, leaving far behind all these places, when we arrived at our prime destination New Orleans finally, I remained astonished as I had never anticipated that, this place could turn out to be entirely opposite in comparison with our previous halts in terms of its vibrant ambience. The charming French Quarter, French designed architecture scattered all over, cultural exhibitions displayed on the pathways, touch of melodies and rhythms, most importantly it's finger-licking exquisite cuisines were quite adequate to drop my jaw in awe. In fact several times, I wondered what on earth I was doing for these three consecutive years, that I couldn't visit and explore this vibrant hub of culture, art, cuisine, music. Especially, when it comes to the origin of Jazz, I ought to be here much earlier, being a patron of music. Nevertheless, better late than never. The rejoice obtained from this entire experience, became multiplied with the presence of two of our friends. Otherwise Bourbon Street would have seemed more bold and rowdy. The fireworks at midnight by the Mississippi river won our hearts by its unprecedented 3d performance. This entire journey wouldn't have been such fulfilling until and unless the cold weather didn't accompany properly. Over all, it would be added in my personal diary as a lifetime experience to cherish for the rest of my life.
