Day back and forth

Grabbing a job in the United States is really a hassle. Trust me, previously, I used to believe that, it's only difficult to get a job over in Calcutta, but my entire preconceived notion has been disrupted after bagging a job here, in the U.S.A. A long ques of steps  you have to overcome in order to grab it in your pocket. The most troublesome seemed to me was the health check up. Why on earth I have to undergo a Tb test out of nothing, could you explain me? In India, have we ever went through fingerprinting test, drug abuse test in order to obtain a job? May be in government job but never in private sector. Defeating all these hurdles, I had to gather four of my professional references out of nowhere so that I could be proved authentic. The colleagues whom I haven't talked to for so long, I had to approach with a begging sack in my hand. It's good that they didn't reject me yet. But I wonder, what's taking them so long to complete the hiring procedure. Anyway, let's keep our fingers crossed and see what happens next.
