Countdown commences here. The bell has rung to get back to Kolkata. Only twelve days are left before setting our feet over the land of festivity. It seems metaphorical as Maa Durga like me, is also about to touch our land which denotes her maternal house from distant heaven in a few days in order to chastise our earth. People are inquiring me these days, regarding my current mental condition as I will be departing U.S.A soon in order to welcome my homeland. Here lies the problem, as I can't explicate my heart in front of others distincty, as I, myself do not know the answer properly. In one hand, I am an seventh heaven as after an entire year, I will be reuniting with my parents with plenty of gifts, on the other, returning kolkata reminds me of rumbling vehicles everywhere, beeping of car horns, bells of rickshaws, overall this entire cacophony terrifies me. Not only that, hooliganism encompassing whole Bengal is quite adequate to become reluctant for returning initially. But at the end of the day, the biggest fact is that, after all it is my dear, own homeland and I have a profound yearning for it. Therefore, eradicating every sort of attachment with this exceedingly liberal and welcoming country, I am exhilarated to land in my own land after almost one year. Here I come, my beloved India.
