After four years of rigorous waiting, I finally convinced myself to watch the much-speculated movie named, Jagga Jasoos, which was literally expectant to be a quality movie at least from my perspective. After the flat downfall of a much-anticipated movie called, Ae Dil Hai Muskil, I determined my mind not to go for a movie in a theater hypnotized by its glossy, lucrative trailer without studying its post release reviews. In fact, this time I made a double blunder, by watching this movie even after its disappointing reviews. Nevertheless, with a broad heart, I commenced my visual journey of witnessing this movie but as time went on, it seemed to me nothing but a sack of disaster. I wonder, how could a director like Anurag Basu created an art piece like this, while films like Gangster, The life in a metro etc have emerged from this same hand. Katrina Kaif, as usual, was a treat to the eyes but in terms of her work, she was an utter disappointment. Rest of the others including Ranbir Kapoor performed moderately. But the script was a commotion of events. The haphazard manifestation of a confused director's mind could be comprehended precisely. Here, at the same time, I won't comment that the musical experiment could not captivate my mind but if the foundation in terms of a script is that much feeble, then nothing can substitute this flaw. Therefore, overall, this project adorned with musical experimentation couldn't win my heart rather seemed to be wastage of time. Hopefully, it has been a lesson learned in my accordance, which should prevent me from performing such a mistake in my coming time.
