Secret Superstar is no more a secret !

It's not that often, I get an opportunity to watch a movie with my parents especially in a movie theater. When I finally got one, it was abundant in pleasure as this movie belongs to the house of film-patron, our one and only hope in Bollywood industry Mr.Perfectionist Aamir Khan. However, it was a privilege to witness such a piece of work. Usually Aamir Khan productions do not deceit our expectations, likewise, this movie called Secret Superstar is never an exception. Right from the very beginning the flow proceeded like a stream flowing over a mountain. It was that much soothing. The movie touched our soul exceedingly through its poignant appeal and associated emotions, which are barely found in recent cinemas.
The plot revolves around Insia, a 14 years old girl, belonging a conservative, patriarchal, male dominated  Muslim family and her apparently innocent, naive, ignorant, kind of simple nature mother Najma. Here the debutante director himself has scripted the plot in a commendable fashion. The mother-daughter relationship is portrayed in such a realistic way which often brings tears in our eyes. Two plots were advancing simultaneously that reminded me of two railway tracks proceeding parallel without any disruption in between only to merge with each other at some point of time. The chief plot being Insia's aspiration to become a successful singer, amalgamated with the sub-plot regarding her enduring mother's relentless conflict to overcome domestic violence caused by none other than her own male chauvinist, dominating, brutal husband himself. The entire boisterous journey of this little girl, flourished her into a full-grown fighter with the cooperation of a gradually down-falling music composer Shakti Kumar, played by Aamir Khan with an exceedingly humorous approach. Another shy yet intense, significant characterization named, Chintan being Insia's secret lover, adorned the story-line with splendor and intensity. Finally, the equivocal, climax transcended the entire experience to a supreme level. The music of this movie might not be sounded magnificent separately but with the picturization it accomplished the pinnacle. Despite few of its unconvincing aspects which seemed a bit dissimilar to Aamir Khan's productions, overall the impact of this entire depiction was quite inspiring. Like always, I will be looking forward to undergo more of such experiences in near future.
